Athleisure Part 2: Graphic Sweatshirt & Stretchy Pants

Hey, hey! Oh how I wished I lived up to this sweatshirt lately. KALE! I need more kale in my life. Well, I just need more greens overall, especially after cruise food, followed by Thanksgiving week.  In addition, my full schedule is making me greens lazy and I had to cancel my produce delivery subscription for the time being. This means less greens landing in my veggie drawer, though I did get around to purchasing spinach at Costco. Sadly, my smoothie intake is almost non-existent, but I still wear this sweatshirt proud, as I KNOW I'll turn a green's corner soon!

In the meantime, I reach for these comfy pants!  In spite of how casual this outfit is, I'm proud of how it turned out. For those of you who need to live beyond stretchy pants, I'll be sharing some dressier outfits soon! Life's a lot of running and chasing this days. (Please don't be mislead. It's not the running that burns calories!)

Anyway, do I even need to mention that I felt comfortable??? No. That much is obvious, but for some reason I was confident in it as well. With a graphic sweatshirt from Target (by the way "KALE" is as close as I'm ever going to get to "YALE"), a few accessories and the finishing utility jacket I felt ready to tackle the world.

Well, maybe ready to tackle some boys!  They don't like it, but some days we must live through boring tasks such as: bill paying, cell phone repair, and shopping. I can get as irritable as they do if I'm not careful, so we turned bill paying into a semblance of fun by walking around downtown, climbing on benches, wells, cabooses and  whatever else they could find.

My moments of fun were found in picking up a latte and that free cupcake!

However, there wasn't much to be done about our 5 hour time investment at the mall due to phone troubles. I took advantage of a flash boot sale at a nearby consignment shop, grabbed us a bite to eat and let the boys play on phones or iPads at the Apple store and Sprint store. And that was more than enough for one day!!

I did pop into GAP for a pair of joggers and gifts for the kiddos. While in IL, I shopped with my Mother in Law and sister in law at Chicos, Express and a shoe store - such great sales!! :)
