Pikolinos, Pullovers & the Thursday Moda Link Up

Can I get a few cheers for stylish COMFORTABLE clothing?? Come on. Let's walk around Uptown Bloomington (or any town for that matter). I can go the distance with ya in this all about comfort style. From the cozy sweatshirt to the most comfortable boots, I could dress like this everyday!

I know. My husband asked my why I wanted a picture in front of a dirty, stained parking lot but I loved the colors in the mural so I didn't care. He also remarked on the fact that my bag is unzipped - again. Goodness that's a bad habit of mine. It's like I'm trying to tempt and test thieves.

This pullover sweatshirt dress is soft, cozy and all the things you want in a sweatshirt. Only trouble is, we picked this up at an Express Outlet store and I can't find it available online. Phooey!

My accessories are simple, with a bar necklace, hoop earrings and a few bracelets; one of which is my most worn of the season. It may even be called "Must Have".

What am I grinning at?? Aside from the comfort of this outfit, I'm loving my new found freedom in wearing lipstick colors. All I've ever worn are neutrals, so this deep purple is a big jump for me and I love it! I added a link for you below .

My favorite mural in Uptown, Normal but this is the best we could do with the bright sun determine our photo opps.

Finally, let's take a moment to talk about these boots! My mother-in-law introduced me to Pikolinos for the first time on her visit back in October. She raved about their comfort, which I was a little skeptical about. Usually comfort and stylish struggle to stay together. I know. Things are coming a long way. Well, we left the conversation at that, but while I was visiting IL she encouraged me to try on a pair. Oh my! Soft buttery leather, cute style, support and cushion. Guess who got a fun Christmas present?? ME!

I've since researched them and have found that their direct website marks down certain styles from time to time, so you can try them on in store to get a feel for what fits you and then hunt for them online! Only be quick because when they're marked down they sell out fast.

Ok my friends, I'm excited to be co-hosting the Thursday Moda with the fabulous Ada our host, host (hehe) and the lovely KellyAnn from This Blonde's Shopping Bag. Kellyann's top is fabulous and perfect for that Florida weather. I love the details on her heeled sandals! Ada's velvet top with those red pants and SHOES are screaming "Honey, take me OUT!". (I know. I'm a slacker in my comfy casuals this week - haha.) I love that we all wore a fun shade of lipstick!

These two ladies are precious to me and I'm humbled to be included in their blog lives. ;)

Go ahead!  It's time to link up YOUR outfits and check out the others below. This is my favorite aspect of blogging and what keeps me going...hearing from YOU!

  1. Chrissy you look fabulous! I love that lipstick on you. Those boots are terrific too. I am all about comfortable shoes, I swear they are worth every penny. I's rather have one good pair than 10 cheap ones that tear up my feet. I'm going to have to check out this line!
    Yay for co-hosting together again!
