The Latest & Greatest Kimono & the TBB ASKs

Hello my friends! Today I'm sharing my latest and greatest kimono that I picked up at American Eagle, as well as the fun TBB Asks edition for SUMMER! As, I've shared in my last couple of posts my family and I are moving so things are beyond hectic. I'm trying to soak in as much Georgia people time as I can, while listing one house and putting an offer on another! Yikes! So, I'll make it quick and share some looks that I've tried with this pin-tuck kimono from AE and then get right to those questions! ;)

TBB ASKS - Vacation Edition

Will you go on summer vacation this year? Just came back!

Do nothing but relax or pack it all in? We usually try to relax, but this vacation was spend house hunting in Sarasota, Florida. At least we were able to get some play time in!

What month do you like to vacation? We usually go in June. It's like we can't wait to get out of town once the kids get out of school!

Cruise: YES or NO. Our family doesn't cruise, but my hubby and I took our first cruise ever back in October and LOVED it!

Favorite Vacation Tradition? We have always vacationed at the beach and my favorite tradition there is to ride bikes to get ice cream. So simple, right?

Most Memorable Vacation? Right now it may be last year's vacation to the Bradenton/Sarasota area because we ended up saying with my dad's friend and my cousin when the original plan was Ponce Inlet. You can catch that story here. ;)

Pack light or pack it all? We try to pack light but it depends...hotel? Pack light? Going to a condo? Pack it all. But now that we are moving to Florida, our usual vacation spot, I wonder where our vacation spot will be now? Probably Georgia to see family and friends!

Hotel, Condo or House? We were blessed over the years by my mom's time shares and friend's who shared their condo! We were blessed and spoiled!

Favorite things to eat on vacation? Being a family of six, we don't eat out much on vacation but our family has always loved splurging at Aunt Catfish in Daytona. Their Sunday brunch is amazing!

Warm or Cold Destinations? Other than that one surprise trip to Alaska in February to see my sister (read about that HERE), I've always hit the warm places!

Well, my friends what's going on in your summer so far?? I always love to hear from you!

  1. I really love beach vacations, too... you can truly just unwind and relax. My husband and I did lots of big cities our first few years of marriage then we went somewhere tropical and we were like... NOW this is a vacation! Ha! I'm so excited for you about your move! Wow! I have NEVER moved! Been in STL my entire life! Crazy, right?

    1. Carrie, that's such a fun fact! Never moved? And thank you. At the start of our marriage we moved a couple of times but then we stayed put for 15 years. We've not sold a house before so this is new territory for us! Have a great weekend!
