What I Wore: Handwoven Boho Beauties

When you're choosing your next pair of shoes to you pick neutral or bold? When it comes to shoes or handbags, I leaned towards neutrals. I wanted to get more cost per wear. I wanted them to go with as much of my existing closet as possible. However, through blog adventures, I've learned that patterns, bold colors, and unique designs cohesively and harmoniously blend with neutrals. They can add so much interest to an outfit. And that cost per wear decreases by the ensemble. What do you think?

Today's post features the fabulously boho-inspired, loafers and matching handbag from the Italian-designed Enjoiya shoes. They sent me the bag and shoes for review, but all opinions are my own. Bonus, I get compliments on these items by friends, as well as strangers - that's always a good indicator! ;)

The Base Outfit

I went with my latest poplin button-up and denim jeans care of WHBM and paired those with my duster from Lucky. The hat was an add-on when I grew weary of my "Florida Hair", but I think it ended up completing the outfit.

The Samantia Shoes

These stylishly comfortable loafers can be worn with or without socks all day long. The soles are solid, yet they give enough to move with your feet. The lining is soft on your feet and the fabric outer layer features many colors to choose from. Though for this outfit I chose a neutral base, I've also paired these shoes with a camo top. I need to photograph that!

Side Note: The shoes come in two other colors as well!

The Storia Handbag

Enjoiya designed their first bags and I LOVE them. Each "Storia" is designed to match one of the Samatia shoes. Of course, the outside is handwoven boho fabric, but the inside is leather lined with one pocket for those small items.

Color Insight

I love my preset but sometimes certain colors get lost in translation. So, what do you think more neutrals with bold are should we add more print mixes for fashion fun?

  7. I've never really thought of it before but I have the same strategy - I like patterned or brightly coloured shoes and bags! Your loafers and bag go beautifully with the jeans and add some Mediterranean chic!
