Buffalo Plaid Tiered Midi Skirt
Hello, my friends. Last week it was all about the yellow and this week it's all about the buffalo plaid. Let me start by saying that I was not looking for a midi-skirt while shopping with my MIL last month. She wanted to pop into Talbots and I followed behind with no intention of trying anything on. Then I saw this skirt and the next thing I knew I was twirling around the fitting room. Even better was the sale on top of the sale price they had going on...the rest is history, right?
I have big plans for this skirt beginning with print mixing fun!
Floral & Plaid
This skirt feels like a classic and the striped band around the waist adds more styling adventures, especially for this old floral top. The skirt is a statement on its own so I didn't feel the need to over accessories. That doesn't mean I wasn't tempted to add a hat! Maybe next time.
Stripes & Plaid
For the second look, my latest oxford makes a comeback. Adding pops of red seemed like a natural choice with B&W plaid. What do you think?

There's a few more looks I'd like to try with this skirt, but for now I need a place to wear it. Dinner maybe? A bridal shower? Also, coming up on the blog next week is our Red, White, Blue and You link up to feature your patriotic fashion, decor, recipes etc. I'm so excited about that one!

The Holiday Series: Christmas Outfit Inspiration
Hi there! Are you all ready for Christmas? As I type and breathe, I am not ready!! I feel a slight tightening in my chest; something akin to stress. Even now our lack of eggs, milk and fresh produce looms over me, reminding me that I need to close this computer and run to Aldi. Just a few more minutes! Anyone else feeling it? There's a few more gifts to pick up and ALL gifts need to be wrapped. GULP. Our boys are counting down as well, but for totally different reasons.
However, Christmas will come and when it does I will enjoy it whether or not all things were done perfectly or not. Amen! So I'm taking a deep breath and reminding myself what this season is all about while entertaining some fashion therapy in between. ;) And today we happen to have 15 bloggers to inspire you...

Thrifted Or Gifted, Featuring: Buffalo Plaid
Why hello! While preparing to work on this blog post today I received a notification from my computer warning me that my storage is filling up. Sigh. I should already have a system in place, but computer clean up is not my favorite. However, I'm working on it, but loading photos into organized albums on Google Photos as I go along. Now I just need to start transferring and deleting from my computer, which is about 6 years old now. What storage system do you use? Dropbox? Google? Inquiring, unorganized minds would love to know!
