ICYMI: Denim On Denim, Pink & More

Hello! This week my boys are enjoying time off from their studies and I'm cleaning out my bedroom closet. Didn't I just do that recently? Sure feels like it!  Either way, it was needed and I've filled another bag for GoodWill. Now I clearly see what I have, which should result in less time spent choosing what to wear. Ha! Time will tell...in the meantime I'm happy to share my outfit round up.

Denim on Denim

This outfit was all about my latest necklace! It's a combination of 4 strands with pops of colors and tassels, which I thought would do great with denim and white.  I can't wait to style it with some summer dresses!

And see the dog watching me from the window? I owe my awkward smiles to him and the 10 other dogs you can't see that were letting me know I shouldn't be loitering or taking blog pics outside of their kennel. ha! Seriously, they were making such a ruckus! We snapped a few pics and left in a hurry.

Outfit Breakdown:
Chambray top: OLD
White Tee: GAP
Distressed Denim: Judy Blue
Leopard flats: OLD

Camo Shirt & Pink Scarf

I had fun with this outfit. It was chilly and I naturally gravitate towards fall colors...all. year. long. BUT I did add a pop of spring color with my scarf. And isn't green a spring color as well?? ;)  I wore this outfit to a friend's house and my kids ran away as quickly as they could when they heard me ask Glen if he could snap a blog pic or two before we headed inside.

"MOM! Even here??"

The blog must live on my children. It must live on.

Anyway, most colors and prints are reduced to $24.98 in this handbag at DSW (see pics below)!

Outfit Breakdown/Shop the Post:
Blush Necklace: Exact
Denim: Judy Blue Jeans

Blush Necklace Set
Sheer Sleeved Sweater

I wore this outfit on date night and was all about the sweater and the necklace. I took advantage of the cooler temps by getting another wear out of said sweater, as well as my leather coated jeans.  The blush metal metal and purple tones looked so pretty on this sweater!

Outfit Breakdown
Earrings: Brinley & Company
Necklace: English Rose
Sweater: WHBM Clearance

Pink Rain Coat

This pink rain coat is great to style! I opted for my camo pants and light purple top for this overcast Sunday. After church our small group hosted an Easter egg hunt but the weather was gross so we had to take it indoors. When I spotted this wall in the children's area, I knew I wanted to get a pic with it but I wasn't going to do it alone. So, meet Amber! A sweet, caring and friendly gal who is a hair stylist and fellow fashionista!
Outfit Breakdown:
Rain Coat: OLD/Hand Me Down
Top: Entourage
Pants: Loft
Booties: Altar'd State

I leave you with a few shots of our egg hunters and a animation of how I pose for a series of pics verses how Amber poses for a series of pics. :) Have a wonderful week!

I had one very similar before I lost weight, I really kinda miss it...but not the weight! Haha! I think my fave look is the date night look! Awesome, awesome look! It just all works so well - gorgeous necklace, the WHBM pants, the ruffle sweater, the color of which is soooo gorgeous on you! Fab, Chrissy!
