The Holiday Series: Christmas Outfit Inspiration with Five Girls Fashion

 Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! The countdown in our home continues with 2 exceedingly hyper boys and two mildly excited young men.  That persnickety, invaluable resource called time, sneakily slips through my fingers as I busy myself with new traditions, plans for next year and preparing for family to arrive. Yes! My in-laws are coming to us and we couldn't be more excited for this special addition to our new traditions. Meanwhile, the weather in Florida heats up and cools down, challenging my fashion choices (AND HAIR!!!) each day! So planning my actual Christmas outfit sits on the back burner, but I couldn't resist joining Ada from Elegance and Mommyhood in this collaboration for Christmas Inspiration.

So today I bring you my "Navajo Christmas Look". Whatever, I'm not even going to pretend that this is a thing, but I like it sooo...

Anyway, I wish I could say this duster vest is available somewhere, but my MIL found it while boutique shopping and I've not seen the like of it since. The top hangs just below your bottom (say with British accent) in the back, but is cut slightly higher in the front, which gives me a nice shape. There are cute buttons on the sleeves and neckline, a soft waffle texture and extra detail via the seams in the back.   This cutie comes in black as well! SHELBEE Shelbee on the Edge "This Christmas I am feeling a bit of a “Bah, Humbug” so when Charlotte Russe offered all of their employees a sweater of their choosing for $10, this cute “Bah, HumPug” sweater seemed perfectly appropriate for my holiday mood lately. Ironically, however, the sweater has cheered me up immensely! I paired it with a mixed plaid scarf in Christmas colors (from Target last year) and my fuzzy camouflage coat (also from Charlotte Russe). Tan skinny jeans (Target) and dark green sock booties (Burlington Coat Factory) finish the outfit. But it wouldn't be Christmas without my red pom pom earrings (Rosegal) and my favorite knit hat made by my grandmother circa 1950’s.
