What I Wore: Love Knows No Limits

Hello and welcome to another fashion share and link up! I've thoroughly enjoyed taking advantage of February being the month of love with these posts. From Valentine outfits to highlights on freedom and human trafficking awareness, I think I could settle into every month having an emphasis on love. Well, I suppose each month already is. We don't need a holiday to share love, receive and learn more about love. Just the same, it's fun to emphasize now and then! So, today I'm closing out the month of February with another tee from Sweet Soul Clothing Boutique.

Love Knows No Limits

I knew I'd pick this tee as soon as I saw it in the shop. If you haven't read 1 Corinthians 13, it's a powerful chapter on love, traditionally used as a part of marriage vows. However, verse seven sums up the characteristics of love perfectly with, "[love] bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things".  Cleverly stated by Sweet Soul, "Love Knows No Limits."

If I'm going to wear a shirt with a message on it, I want to identify with it. Once that step is made it's all about the cut and color. The pink is an easy choice for me to pair with my typical blues. From there I see what casual styles will work for daily life. As for the bracelet, I featured it last week HERE on the blog with another shop with a mission to give back!

*Style Tip*

To elevate a casual jogger look, simply add your favorite completer piece, a coordinating bracelet, and something playful, like a ball cap.

Paperbag & Denim Jacket Winner

Paperbag Pants (Latest from Lucky) / /  Sweet Soul Tees / / Pink Vans / / Earrings

Once again, the casual vibes are flowing with clearance finds from various shops. Of course, I've linked what I could above so if you're in the market you can join my vibes. Otherwise, shopping from your closet is a wonderful discipline!

*Style Tip*

Another way to elevate a casual look is to feature a trend such as paperbag pants, a fun print, or clay earrings. Play the matchy-match game with your top and shoes. When in doubt, grab a denim jacket!

Kimono Dreams

This last and final look for the day is completely shopped from my closet of clearance finds. Back in the day (before 2020 lol), I used to shop the clearance racks of Lucky Brand and Altar'd state. This look features a kimono and a pair of boots from Altar'd State and the flare jeans are from Lucky. I miss those days!

*Style Tip*

Fake-out the laws of casual, by being casual with a dressy flare. I do this with black velvet booties and a dressy kimono. It's still a relaxed look but I'd wear this look to most eateries, hangouts, etc around these parts.

  3. Chrissy, I love this tee shirt so much! 1 Corinthians 13 is by far my favorite verse. I have always adhered to the rule that if you can apply no other scripture to your life, at the very least live by 1 Corinthians 13! Now can you imagine what the world would like if everyone lived by the rules of unconditional love that knows no limits?!

I really loved all the ways you have styled this fun tee. Joggers are so great on you! And I am ready for some warmer weather to start wearing all my kimonos again.

  4. That kimono outfit is my favorite and I agree, love knows no limits! We can celebrate it year round but it is fun to have a special emphasis on it in February. Love the style tip too about dressing up your denim with velvet booties and a kimono!
