The Shifu Orboot Interactive Globe For Kids

Special Post! My ever-willing photographers and sidekicks in many blog adventures were sent their first item to review!  When Shifu contacted me about their interactive, augmented 4D and educational globe my only concern was the age of my boys. Is the globe more geared for younger children? The recommended ages are 4-10 and my boys are right at the top! So before we agreed, I had them watch the Amazon video, look at the pictures and read reviews (mostly me on those reviews). They were intrigued, so we accepted!

A Homeschool Field Trip to SeaWorld Orlando

My, my doesn't the time pass quickly before our unseeing eyes? Back in August I looked over our homeschool field trip schedule and stopped at March's event - SeaWorld for only $29 a ticket! SeaWorld invites students from homeschool, private or public school to come and learn about the mysterious and captivating ocean at a deep discount. I love most theme parks so I added this one to the calendar!  Now someone explain how this day already came and went?? If you're planning a trip to Orlando, you may want to add SeaWorld to your itinerary. It's a place I've visited since childhood and our recent trip felt like a walk down memory lane...

Graphic Tees, Sarasota Tidbits, & Homeschool Adventures

"Take me to the sea..." That's a quote I can fall in love with. In fact, my family and I anticipated lots of playtime along the shoreline when we discovered that Sarasota would be our new home. However, the red tide algae has plagued the gulf shores of Florida since June. Before moving to Sarasota, I had never heard of red tide.  Well today I'm sharing the little I've learned, taking you along for our most recent adventures around the town, during a not-so-typical homeschool day, and of course sharing a little fashion.
