Garden Mules For Everyday by Jambu

Today's featured look is all about easy, comfort-style from the material to mules, the easiest shoes to wear! What I Wore: The Chelsea Rain Boot

Jambu is representing again today with a timely pair of rain boots. Why timely? Well, they arrived the day before we had an uncharacteristically long rainy day. We get plenty of rain in Florida but it's not often that it lasts all through the day. It also happened to be a Friday, which is a casual day for us at work. Did I mention that it was picture day at work? I remembered as soon as I saw my coworkers all dressed up.  Yeah. I forgot. However, not all was lost because during the shoot I was able to hide behind the sofa and afterward the sweet photographer, Joni, snapped this photo for me...

Hello! Are you welcoming the weekend with open arms today? I most certainly am. Today marks one full work week down in the books. I'm brain tired but feeling hopeful and excited about things to come. And for right now that means a day without having to think too hard. Ha! I'll be happily engaged with chores around the house this weekend...in these fun in or outside shoes by Jambu. It's been a long week, right? We deserve a moment to kick up our feet and these shoes deserve a Friday Feature spotlight because of their comfortable, multi-purpose fabulousness.

Hello, beauties! Are you ready for spring? Of course, the fashion industry has been ready with its 2021 spring line since the spring of 2020. Once a line is released the design process for the next year begins! Sounds like a risky gamble at times, but I bet that's part of the adventure. And it's an adventure for me to see what those familiar brands add and change. Last week I shared a design upgrade by Jambu with the "Erin Too", but today's post is a newly designed, water-ready sandal c/o Jambu.

What I Wore: Jambu Pull-ons In Pink

Hello! What is your go-to shoe for spring? I hadn't thought too much into it before writing this post, but more and more I find myself reaching for pull-on sneakers. They are convenient, stylish, and wonderfully comfortable. Rainy days aside, they are perfect for pairing with just about any easy-going, casual look.

Layering a button-up with a tank is such an easy-going look to pull together. From there, grab a pair of jeans or even better legging pants with a pull-up waist. Why not sport all the slip-on-pull-on-pull-up comfort that you can?

The Erin Too shoes feature a sporty bungee chord across the sides, a skate-inspired look, and knit uppers. The relaxed foam insole feels amazing from the first time you walk out the door. Those insoles, a flexible body and adventure-worthy traction put these sneakers on my top shoe for spring list!

I switched out my plaid button-up for a chambray snap-up. Do you sense a theme going on here? Aside from the trees. I am a mom of boys and if you look closely you will see one of them hiding in the banyan roots. Anyway, chambray tops or jean jackets make fashionable completer pieces for fall or spring because they look cute tied around your waist. Once I attempted to climb these trees with the boys, I was happy to shed my outer layer!  

Style Takeaway

Convenience and comfort no longer mean drab and boring. One or two quality pairs of casual shoes with stylish details and your favorite colors, can not only take good care of your feet and legs, but they can also bring you countless looks that elevate confidence.

Friday Favorites : Where Did September Go

I'm currently watching my dog sleep peacefully on the couch, while the cat seizes the opportunity to slink around the living room without being disturbed. The sunrise is a rainbow of colors, glowing through the clouds like a still oil painting. If only it was, then I could drink that beauty all day long. Sadly, there's work to be done and thankfully there's life to live! Yes! If you're drawing in breath there's hope and there's a purpose for you!

After my unexpected hospital stay, due to blood clots in my leg, which traveled to my lungs, I had a valuable wakeup call! This, along with the recovery and visits with friends and family, made September pass as quickly as that morning sunrise. However, while I'm content to reside in October please allow me a quick recap on some favorite moments!

Three Outfits, One Stinking Cute Pair of Shoes

Hello and join me in officially welcoming fall! Oh, I know so many have long decorated their homes and cleared the Target dollar spot while sipping their PSL.  Are you guilty? Of course, there's no judgment.  I'd probably be the same way if not for my penchant for procrastination. Oh, and that unexpected visit to the ER, and well, let's just say September almost dropped off my calendar! 

Was it one of those four Rowdy boys? No, my friends. It was me unknowingly facing death's door with blood clots in the legs that ended up with a diagnosis of five pulmonary embolisms! Praise God I'm still here. There's much I could share (and have on IG), but today's post is on SHOES: wonderful, comfortable, stylishly fun, and adventure-loving shoes! 

Stuck On The Blues: Dressing Up & Dressing Down

 My dear Watson, it would seem this girl has an affinity for the color blue. I admit, I'm on a bit of blue color kick lately. Let's blame it on my casual bent toward blue jeans. From there it was a necklace, gifted earrings, shoes, etc and before I knew it my closet teemed with coordinating shades of blue. Admittedly, I've done this before with army greens, pink and grays.

And this blue outfit was my stay at home Easter dress. I woke up early, put together the boy's Easter treats, stuffed eggs, threw a casserole together and quietly drank my coffee while reading Psalms before anyone was awake. Even though we weren't going anywhere, I wanted to make the day feel as special as possible by dressing up, playing music etc.

Well my friends, it's hard to gear up for fashion these days! However, when fun packages come in the mail, I'm newly inspired. Hello my friends and Happy April Fool's Day! No fooling around in this post, but almost always some goofing off on Instagram stories! Anyway, today I'm featuring a stylish pair of shoes, by Jambu that no one will know are actually comfort shoes. They are on my "make me smile list" and I'd say it's a good time for such a list, right?  Now before I begin, allow me to share a few thoughts...

Never before has our country, or even the world, experienced what we are experiencing now. Disasters, wars, etc. But a world wide virus spread? There's nothing to compare it to. We are in the unknown, but we are not ALONE. God loves us and has not forsaken us, whether it feels that way or not. I can share that because I've repeatedly experienced HIS faithfulness throughout my years.

He's always there but I'm ever in awe over the creative ways He shows Up. And He will show up now in more ways than we can imagine. I feel it already in the show of community support. We are loving on each other virtually, doctors, nurses and staff are working tirelessly and so much more! I hope this post also finds you feeling loved and makes YOU smile.
