Eva Trends: The Queen Lace Dress

I finally pulled out this gorgeous dress sent to me from Eva Trends! It was but an ordinary date night, only this time my hubby and I were invited to a coat and tie Christmas dinner. I couldn't be more thrilled to have the perfect dress waiting for it's debut! Now pray tell, what was my reward for being ready on time? I had to pump the gas. Of course I'm kidding, but when the weather's been uncooperative for pictures, you take lighting opportunities where you can get it! Now let's chat about this dress!

I immediately liked the color for my skin tone, but felt a sweet confidence boost after receiving compliments from guests, as well as the catering crew throughout the evening. The lace overlay is beautiful with extra details around the collar and waist, the cut and length is perfect and the lining is soft on the skin. Thankfully, it's roomy around the waist, making it my first choice for a dinner party!

Had it been cooler, I would have worn black heels and black tights, OR found a pair of matching tights and kept these WHBM warehouse finds in the mix. This dress is a keeper and I look forward to styling it again.

As for my earrings and my clutch, they were both in my Causebox subscription boxes! The clutch is by October Jaipur and the earrings are by MATR Boomie.  I should share the winter box with you guys soon. I love everything in it!

Here's a picture of me with my fab date.
I've enjoyed styling pieces from Eva Trends, each unique and stylish in their own right, but it was fun to wear a dressier dress, as I don't have many opportunities to do so! Eva Trends has a wide variety of dresses, cardigans, sweaters, pants and even accessories. Hop on over and and use code: CR15 for an extra 15% off you entire order!  EVA TRENDS

Well, tell me. Any dressy events on the calendar for this month? What's your go-to style of dress for a semi-formal affair?

Biggest of hugs and Christmas wishes!

  13. I have been away from blogging and reading blogs for a month or so, but catching up slowly now. How I love that dress on you. Oh, my goodness!! At first glance I thought you were sharing a photo of J-Lo (love her) pumping her own gas. Was thinking 'atta girl!' but worried she (you) might ruin her dress. YOU look like Hollywood. So gorgeous. Eva Trends needs to use your photos to advertise this dress. Happy new year, beautiful you.

    1. You are so sweet Leslie. Thank you! This is a great comment to wake up to! I took a bit of a blogging/social media break as well. I'm teetering between the blog being a source of supplemental income for the family and a mere hobby, but sometimes you have to step away! So gad you're back. :)
