The Print I Can't Stop Wearing

Nevah, will I ev-ah wear...How many times have you said that, only to eat your words some time later. Hand raise. I certainly didn't intend to ever wear capris and yet there I was sporting capris with the rest of them. With the exception of the all out slipper style shoe, I'm not sure there's a trend I'll swear off till I at least try it. However, I can say there's a print I'd like to believe I'll never STOP wearing.  Yes, you guessed it - camo! Happily joining the Blended Blog for their Wednesday link up in: "Never Will I Ever".

Why I Kissed Waxing Goodbye & Shop Forward Personalized Bag

This weekend I've had a productivity lapse. Mountains of laundry and unhung pictures glare at me, while cooking efforts went no further than frozen pizza  to feed my brood. I'll blame it on hormones and justify it with last weekend's accomplishments. Do you ever do that? Well, that's me this weekend and especially today as cooler temps and rain kept me snuggled up in front of Jane Austin's  "Emma" AND "Jane Erye" by Charlotte Bronte. With my heart full of both tragic and comedic romance classics, I feel ready to chat about those expression making, featuring making OR breaking - brows! Do you pluck your brows, get them waxed or do you opt for threading? Sharing why I kissed waxing goodbye and a new favorite bag!

Do You Have Any Hot Pink?

I was invited to a Hot Pink Party and I ended up wearing all the colors. I tried to focus on fuchsia, however a quick search of my closet rendered nothing but a scarf and a necklace! How can this be? It would seem I did too much purging before our move. Ah well, thankfully, this "Pink Party" is all inclusive so I get to stay and spread the word - maybe today is a good day for YOU to sport hot pink!

Goal Rundown: Starting Off With "A Healthier Me"

Hi! The work on my new goals continues. With the guidance of the Cultivate PowerSheets, I've invested a few hours, spread out over the last couple of months, in search of what matters most to me at this time in my ever-changing life. Today I want to share a quick rundown of these goals and highlight "A Healthier Me".  The list looks small but within those titles, lies a host of mini-goals that I can tackle at a manageable pace.  My hope is that by sharing bits at a time, I'll keep focused and inspire others in the process!

Simply Earth's January Box: Nourishing Skincare With Bergamot, Ravensara, Myrrh and Farewell Scars Blend

January's subscription box awaits! (If you missed my intro to Simply Earth's EOs, hop on over HERE!) Is one of your goals to have a healthier you? So often we focus our health efforts solely on food and exercise. While this positively integral, our largest organ is often neglected! Once upon a time no one questioned sulfates, acetone, fragrance and ethanol in the ingredient lists of skin care, cosmetics and shampoos.  Even now, when I know those chemicals are harmful, I still continue to use them from time to time. Factors such as cost, convenience and dare I say, "results" often steer me to fabricated, but luscious scents to achieve my dream skin and hair.

Am I seriously writing about my "word of the year"? Yes! Yes, I am. Honestly though, so what if I've chosen a word of the year? What's in a word anyway? Well, today I'm sharing light fashion inspiration and how I came to a place where I can say that I have a word WITH personal (and hopefully lasting) significance for the 2019 year.
