Friday Favorites: Red Shoes, Smoothies, Pizza Crust And Wildflower Fields

Hello and welcome to another edition of the Friday Favorites! How fun it is to share quick recaps of places visited, beauty products we love, fabulous food picks and more with each other weekly! And this week is no different. Today I'm featuring red espadrilles, a healthy pizza crust you will want to try and a quick visit to the wildflower fields! I'm so excited to have you here!
Fashion Favorite: The Happy Bow Red Shoes

Everyone should have red accessories - a red purse, red shoes, hat etc, right?  However, for some reason I have very little red arraying my closet. For this reason, I nabbed up this red pair of espadrilles during a buy one get one half off sale at Target! My first wear or two, I found myself sightly unbalance in them. Thankfully, this was naturally remedied and I'm off and practically running in them.

Special thank you to Kellyann from this Blonde Shopping Bag for encouraging me to wear this top with my boyfriend jeans. I love how the look turned out!

SUPERSEED Well Pizza Crust & Superfood Smoothie Mix In

SUPERSEED Well sent their affiliates two new products this month: pizza crust and Smoothie Mix in. I can't begin to tell you how excited I was to try the pizza. I love pizza, but the white flour bloat that follows consumption, taints the experience. You don't get that with the SUPERSEED Well crust because the flour is made from 7 seeds - unless of course you have a seed allergy!

This pizza is delicious as well as - yup, you guessed it, NUTRITIOUS with healthy fats, plant-protein, whole fiber, omegas, antioxidants and no sugar! Just like the rest of their products it is grain-free, dairy free, gluten free, paleo and keto friendly!

Fun fact: Lindsey (co-owner) informed us that pizza was the first product they ever tried to market. Sadly, between packaging issues with a secondary company and the culture not being ready they had to forgo pizza and try something different. I could feel her emotion and excitement as she revealed the news that the pizza crust was back, years later!

Each $16 package comes with 2 10" pizza crusts.

The Superfood Mix In
In addition to their 7 seed blend, the mix in powder adds more spinach, spirulina and plant based hemp protein. The powder mixes well so I consider it undetectable and my boys love the fruit smoothies!.  extra goodness going into your body when you add the green powdery goodness to your smoothies, I did not detect its presence.
Ok, one more fun SUPERSEED Well fact: did you know one of their donuts has...

"...more fiber than 21/2 cups of spinach, more good fats than half an avocado and less net carbs than a medium red apple!" - SUPERSEED Well

CODE!
And they are still offering 20% off when you use my code: granola_n_grace. Shipping is free when you spend $75. You may feel like that's a lot of pizza dough, green smoothies, donuts, etc, but their products can be stored in the freezer. Back home friends and I have shared family packs. However, I love a freezer full of them, as it goes more quickly than I'd like.

My Favorite Smoothie Recipe
8 oz of water
2 handfuls spinach and/or kale
2 T of Superfood Mix In
3 strawberries
1/2 of a banana
1/2 cup of mango or pineapple
A few ice cubes

Favorite Internet Surprise: The Meadowlark Legging Shoutout
After reviewing leggings from Meadowlark, I hopped over to their website and was surprised to see my pic on the review page, just below another face I recognized (Andrea Nine)! This is a favorite because, there's times when I wonder if my work is hitting the mark and those encouragements along the way are much appreciated. So thank you Meadowlark!

Exploring Myakka
There's a state park out in Myakka, Florida that is home to alligators,  several species of birds, deer and the list goes on. After my photoshoot there last week, I decided to drag as many of my boys out to see the wildflowers while they were still in bloom. We were almost too late!

However, they didn't know the difference in flower quantity and loved it. I laughed at their lion playacting.

"A hunter in the wild"

Here's a couple pics that Evan took while we were hiking around! Have a wonderful week my sweet friends and as always your comments are welcome and appreciated! Oh be sure to check out the Simply Earth post from Monday and Wednesday Fashion Feature!

  6. You have such handsome fellows in your life, lucky girl!! What a beautiful spot for a walk. That state park is lovely and peaceful. With the exception, maybe, of that critter in the water.

    1. Thank you, that you. And ha to that critter. They are quite the fearsome pests that one must watch out for here in Florida!

  7. The flower fields look like so much fun! What great photos! I'm really liking your red shoes too, they are adorable! I have a pair of red ballet flats I'm trying to make more of an effort to wear lately! I tend to stick to neutral shoes and have bright handbags but it's good to mix it up a little.

Hope that you are having a great weekend! We had our son's birthday party yesterday, it was loud but fun :)

    1. Thank you Jill. It inspires me to keep trying to get my photos better. It's so much harder than it looks, isn't it? Glen needed headshots for an event he is going to be speaking at and we had quite the time getting something decent. I'm no photographer!

  9. The red sandals will be a cute addition for you, I'd never attempt those platforms anymore! I've been making the egg/cheese/cauliflower pizza crust, but would like to branch out . Haha, on the above 'gater comments, we see them randomly in subdivision ponds!

    1. I remember you telling me that you're not into platforms, but you style your flats so well, no one would ever notice that you don't wear them! ;)
