Clean Beauty: Daily Dry Shampoo

Daily Dry Shampoo
Not Your Mamma's Baby Powder
Have you used dry shampoo before? Yeah, me too. Some worked better than others, but I'm sharing one today that is a MUST try. My hair is fine, limp, and sadly thinning.  I feel the need to wash my hair daily simply because the part at my crown is too weighted down and bald spots "appear".  The dry shampoos I've tried help, but only temporarily. I'd feel confident leaving the house, only to find a limp head of hair with a large part soon after. That won't do!

Daily Dry Shampoo

I was excited but skeptical about this clean, non-toxic beauty product. Remember, dry shampoo doesn't work well for me. Also, would there be a powdery mess covering my bathroom counter and floor? Would the powder absorb?

I'm happy to report with the deluxe brush, there's no mess and the application is easy. Once you've distributed the dry shampoo throughout your roots, you use your fingers to rub in. The powder absorbs fairly quickly, though I prefer to apply this before bed at night. Also, check out my Instagram clean beauty highlights for a short demo video!

Dry Shampoo You Could Eat
The powder smells clean and feels nice to the touch, but is it safe? It's food-grade safe! The ingredients are as follows:
  • Arrowroot powder
  • Cornstarch
  • Baking soda
  • Moroccan Lava Clay
  • Lavender Essential oil
  • Geranium Essential Oil
  • Rosewood Essential Oil
  • Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
I'm not adding this powder to my salad but I am adding it to my in-between wash days! This Dry Shampoo makes me smile from ear to ear.
There's an option for blonde hair or dark hair!

  3. You seriously find some of the most amazing natural products! By the way, I just reordered a new bunch of Wildroot deodorant because I love it! And I am no longer stinky. Haha. Now for the dry shampoo. Although I am at the point where I can go 3-4 days without washing my hair and I haven’t even felt the need for dry shampoo yet. But I am sure it will be something I will want soon! Thanks for sharing and linking up with me!

  5. "Is beauty skin deep?" is something we should be asking ourselves every day. Since I was a child, I have asked my parents this. My mother, in all her sweetness, told me that beauty is skin deep only in the aesthetic sense. whitby condos for sale
