Floral, Ruffle Top to Keep Boho Alive & Link Up

Hi! Goodbye February and hello March. Spring is coming and I can almost taste it, inspite of the fact that I continue to live in fall colors. Look! Even the background makes me think of fall. However, I intend to turn my latest top into a spring top real soon by accentuating those lovely flowers. Real soon...

Who chooses garbage day to do a quick photo shoot...I do, I do!

This fun TOTE is a few years old from Target, but here are some fun new ones - Navy POLKA DOTNatural Peach Stripe.

The cardigan from Corrie LeeAnn's, is a staple in my closet and if I was organized enough for a capsule wardrobe, I'm sure it would be included.  I love the rich color that coordinates with my Chicos fedora (QUICK! A beautiful cream colored one is featured here for only $21!! Why did I spend all my clothing budget at Altar'd State???)

I've featured these dual-textured ankle boots from Altar'd State here. I know. Stop with the Altar'd State finds! There is a part of me that wonders if I should do one post with all my finds collectively, but I enjoy savoring each item, not wanting the newness to wear off (pun totally intended).  Let the finds LIVE  awhile. ;)

Also, making another appearance are the distressed jeans, which I layered with grey leggings to keep warm. Admittedly, I was hesitant to layer leggings under ripped up jeans. The first time I tried with black leggings - see that here, which was, ok but I think I like the more subtle grey color in this post. Anyway, I probably don't have to tell you that I love these greenies.  However, I have been eyeing these beauties by Grace & Lace.

This super fun boho choker (WRAP BRACELET) and NECKLACE are by Premier Designs and I am so sad to tell you that this is my last post as Premier Jewelry Girl. So sad, but I'm so passionate about this blog and it's becoming increasingly harder to do both.  That being said I will be adding directs links to my dear friend, Brooke who has been in this business for more than 11 years. She is my hero!

These cute earrings are by a local jewelry called Simply Adored Jewelry, who is taking a break. Wow.   There is no correlation folks. ;)

Now let's get back to this top Spring Solid With RufflesRuffle Tank! It is the epitome of feminine, adorned with a floral print, ruffles and flow that glide whenever I move. I love the length and how workable the sleeves are. It was nothing to stuff them into the cardigan sleeves and pull them out, wrinkle free.

Look at the back!!! I need to get this baby out again!

Now link up, beautiful, with Ada from Elegance and Mommyhood for the Thursday Moda! Oh, and I'm excited to share that Ada, KellyAnn from This Blonde's Shopping Bag and I will be hosting a monthly link up called the Sunday Showcase, which starts THIS Sunday the 4th! It would thrill me to no end if you would link up with us.

  5. The floral, ruffles and flow are just perfect! I’m with you, when I get new pieces, I like to savor them, not divulge them all at once. Too funny, garbage day, been there, what we do for various angles around the house! You wear those distressed jeans with such class and confidence. Distressed are my favorite kind of jeans but I just had to get rid of a pair that were a little too distressed a little too high up, husband did not approve, lol. Looking hot in that hat too pretty lady!

    1. Awww, thank you! :) I admit I was hesitant about wearing distressed jeans as well...confession, I'm hesitant to wear the flat slides that look so much as slippers. Who knows. I'll probably be walking around in them everywhere by next year. :)

  14. This such a Chrissy look. But you know what - totally something I would wear too! I love it. Such a cute hat, too. I have done tights under ripped denim before including fishnets and I love it.

Also, what kind of store is Altered State and how come we haven't heard of it in Michigan?!

P.S. That floral bohemian top works for ANY SEASON!
