What To Wear: Thanksgiving Outfit Inspo
Do you pick your Thanksgiving outfit ahead of time or do you wing it at the last moment? Does your family and extended family take family photos that day? Are you used to a big group or do you have a quaint and quiet celebration? No matter how you celebrate, all that truly matters is if you're comfortable and feeling confident. Today's outfit is what I would choose for comfort, but the added fashion details make me feel more confident. Of course, this outfit works for any fall day, especially in warmer climates but there are a few reasons it works for Thanksgiving.

What I Wore: Fashion Thoughts & Cayman Pants
Hello, and welcome to another edition of "fashion play". This week I have questions in regards to your thoughts on fashion. What do you love about fashion? Have you determined your personal style, or do you consider fashion at all when you prepare for your day? Do you have fashion pieces that elicit happy feelings when you put them to use? Regardless of your answer, I hope you find my thoughts on these questions inspiring and helpful.
How we dress plays a role in how we feel. Isn't that fascinating? If I'm lounging around the house braless and in my pjs, I'm highly unmotivated. If I'm put together with the addition of styled hair, I'm ready to take on anything. Of course, clothes do NOT define the person, however, they do make a statement about the person. And isn't that part of the beauty of personal style? It's unique to the individual. You can fall in line with a particular style and still have your own method of interpretation. Two women can own the same top and style it in different fashion genres. That's the adventure in fashion. And life is too short not to appreciate adventure wherever it may lie.

XCVI Mini-Capsule And The New Try at Home Feature
I'm back with my second 5x5 mini-fall capsule, featuring XCVI Clothing! However, that's not all. They recently rolled out a shopping feature that you're going to love! Have you been on the fence about trying their fabulous flare pants or leggings? The thought of comfort mixed with style calls you, but the indecision and uncertainty hold you back? Well, what if I told you that they now have a Try At Home option?

Boho Vibes In The Summer & Link Up
I wore this dress to church on Sunday, hence the jean jacket. With a/c blasting, I knew I'd get the opportunity to actually wear the denim jacket. But that's not the only reason I chose the jean jacket. With the dress being blessedly lightweight, it can be see-through on the bottom half in the right lighting. I'd rather not take the chance.

A Classic Dress For All Occasions
Dress c/o Caite & Kyla (Use Code: GranolaNgrace for 20% off) // Cupcake Purse
Hello, my friends. I missed you last Wednesday. I hope today finds you doing well and enjoying some sunshine somewhere. As for Florida, we had several days of rain but were they were followed by plenty of sunshine to go around. In fact, today's pictures find me hiding in the shade of the palm tree located in front of a local church. I have to get those photos where I can! ;)
I'm head over heels in love with this classic dress from Caite & Kyla! The soft, silky feel is so different from the last dress I styled HERE, which was more casual. There's not a piece from Caite & Kyla that I don't love. I hope you enjoy today's beautiful, print dress as much as I do.
Speaking of print, does the print look familiar? Andrea at Living on Cloud Nine and Jill at Doused in Pink styled their adorable peasant tops in this print, the week before! I love the whimsical print and elegantly, boho vibe Caite & Kyla achieved with this design. It's breezy and flowy with a button-up bodice and slits perfectly placed for a comfortable stride on a hot summer day.
And on this summer day I paired the dress with heels, bag and jewelry shopped from my closet. Also, look for a shoe and color change up at the end of this post.

More Than A Classic Tee by Caite & Kyla
Classic Tee and a Bold Print. Bold print indeed, but might I add gorgeous, unique, flow-y, effortless and sublimely comfortable? This is my first experience with Caite & Kyla and I couldn't be more thrilled. While perusing their site, I was drawn to the classic, bohemian style. However, it wasn't long before I hopped over to their "About" page.
I learned that their pieces are handcrafted in India with prints designed by artists from around the world, ensuring originality. When my packaged arrived, I discovered that their originality is coupled with quality! I love this top my friends and will enjoy creating various ways to style it.
For today's link up I'm sharing what I wore to classes with the twins, followed by dinner out with my hubby! Everything other than the top, was shopped from my closet!
"The Caite woman has a free spirit, is a lover of art, travel and all things handmade."
"She is a woman who is adventurous, enthusiastic and loves life..."

By the way, our 19th wedding anniversary is coming up next week! It will be our second anniversary to celebrate as Florida residents. Time flies my friend! Alright, let's link up together. And thank you Caite & Kyla for the beginning of so many style possibilities. Looking forward to creating more looks!
Favorite from last week's link up: Kim from Fierce Fashion . Love the blush colored snakeskin Kim!

Tips For That Next Photography Shoot
Thinking about hiring a photographer for head shots, blog pics, or Instagram? Fantastic! I think that's a great idea! One that you won't regret. In fact, with the right amount of planning, your experience can be an investment that you thoroughly enjoyed.
When it comes to hiring a photographer my biggest issues are budget, schedule, planning outfits, and choosing what pictures to use once the shoot is over! However, with lessons I've learned along the way, I have tips to share, as well as some PRO tips from photographer friends that you'll find sprinkled about this post!

Who Will Be Your Next Muse & The Cutest Turquoise Dress
Hello! Another week is logged into the "Rowden Life Lately". The boys are keeping me on my toes with driving lessons, screen time monitoring (to a degree), homeschooling for the twins and enforcing family time. Yeah, we have to enforce it because not all are onboard to chill with us. Somehow we've become utterly uncool.
I'm uncool and I know it.

Floral, Ruffle Top to Keep Boho Alive & Link Up
Hi! Goodbye February and hello March. Spring is coming and I can almost taste it, inspite of the fact that I continue to live in fall colors. Look! Even the background makes me think of fall. However, I intend to turn my latest top into a spring top real soon by accentuating those lovely flowers. Real soon...
