What I Wore: Tribal Fashion Plaids & Stripes

Today's looks go from business casual to playful with fabulous pieces sent by a new-to-me brand called Tribal Fashion. Have you heard of them?  I "met" them on Instagram through other influencers.  Founded in 1971, Tribal is no stranger to fashion, creating unique designs and quality, classic pieces.  Though they began in Montreal, Canada they didn't remain in one location. Their brand is found in over 2,000 stores across North America.

It's a pleasure to share my first Tribal experience with you here on the blog! (*Today's pieces from Tribal are gifted, but all opinions are my own.) For this review, I chose a pair of pinstripe denim pants, a knitted cami and a plaid shirt/dress. Let's start with those pants!

Pinstripe Pants & Classic Camis

Drawn to the cuffed hem and pinstripe design, I hoped they would fit properly around the waist. I'm happy to report that they did! Complimenting the jeans is the knitted cami that is a classic, perfect for any closet piece. It's soft and "bra-friendly" as they say on the site. I agree.

Add An Outer Layer for Fall

Though the temps are still reaching the 90s here in South Florida, we still pretend like it's fall with those outer layers. For a boho flare, I added a flowy, print kimono.

Now For Plaid

I'm wearing this plaid, as I type! The gorgeous colors are perfect for the fall season. With October in mind, how could I resist pulling out the orange stripes with a pair of sneaks and some accessories? If you look closely you'll noticed extra detailing with pleats. Just another way that Tribal adds extra style to their pieces.

Add Back Those Pants

I could layer this dress over leggings or tights as well, but I thought it would be fun to mix up the patterns.

In closing, I'd add Tribal Fashion to my list of unique and quality brands to shop. In the meantime, there's more looks to create with these three pieces. How would you style the plaid dress?

  4. I love all of this! I am impressed at how well they look together too! Looking forward to your new posts on Fridays. I have been really trimming down my closet these past couple of weeks: putting away some of my more summery things and pulling out some of my fallish clothes, I am making sure to just weed out what I don't feel is me anymore and I don't reach for. And still adding a few things... oops =)
