Have you ever purchased several pieces from one brand with the intent to wear any of the pieces together? Well, that is exactly what I did for today's collaboration with XCVI clothing. This post is essentially the beginning of a fall/winter capsule wardrobe. I'm sharing five coordinating pieces that not only complement each other, but they will also complement items already hanging in the closet. With just the five pieces, I counted eight outfits!

Essential Oil Organization & Simply Earth's September Recipe Box

Hello! Would you believe this is my 12th post on Simply Earth's Essential Oil Recipe boxes? What a blessing this company is to me and my family! Right after we moved to Florida I received my first box, consisting of FOUR full-sized bottles of EOs, vibrant recipe cards and bonus items. In addition, I received a bonus box full of empty roller bottles, EO bottles, almond oil, etc. I looked at the contents of that box and thought, "what am I going to do with all that???". Well, I can assure you I've found plenty of uses.

Friday Favorites: Birthdays & Dollar Tree Organization

Once upon a time, I attended a local MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) community group and landed on the leadership team for awhile. If you asked any one of us what our favorite MOPS day was, the most popular response would be "My Favorite Things!". At the end of the year, the leadership team would feature their favorite things. It could be anything from coffee creamer to their favorite lipstick. There were times when a "favorite" was share with the whole room, just like on Oprah. "Everybody gets one!" And when I was on the team, I would rewrite the words to Sound of Music, "My Favorite" things song and sing it. Yeah. I had no shame.  And don't think I haven't thought about doing the same thing for the Friday Favorites. No worries my dears, you will be the first to know when I do. Until then I'll share this weeks favorites on birthdays and Dollar Tree organization, in the customary fashion.

Hello beauties! With fingers poised and a mind heavy laden in thought, I ask myself why no words are coming. And when they do, why are these composed sentences so utterly unsatisfying? How can I expect to inspire others, if I'm bored to tears myself? Have you logged off already? I wouldn't blame you in the least, but hang in there as I gather my thoughts. In addition to purple plaid pleasantries,  I want to share with you "my" plan for goal searching, purpose hunting and priority setting, as well as how I plan to implement them. This can be a challenge for me to convey and I'll not overload you with too many details! Instead I'll just share a few thoughts...

Did I create this method? Oh no, my friends. I can only dream, for I am not a planner and there's only a few places where my brain works in an organized fashion: production layout and maybe my closet.  All that being said, where does the plan come from?
