3 Ways To Wear: Cobalt Blue Print Sweater

Hello! Last post I shared my nursing woes, as my teens were down with the flu. Thankfully, they returned to school on Thursday and I played catch up over the weekend. I'm still not caught up! However, I was able to steal of few moments before the Super Bowl to get pics done for today's post. Speaking of this post, I am thrilled to bring you another "3 Ways To Wear Post"!

Today's feature outfit is shopped from my closet, with the exception of my jewelry. Remember the necklace and earrings I shared about in Friday's post? Well, I already put them to use this weekend.

Look One: Feature Outfit..."Date Night Edge"
Snakeskin, hearts for Valentine's Day and this year's Pantone color of the year come together to make a fashion get up perfect for date night! This outfit started out with the sweater untucked, my snakeskin booties and a grey purse. I decided to jazz it up by swapping out the booties for heels and add an old purse I had that matched the sweater.

Fashion Takeaway: Try tucking in your sweater, add a belt and go for heels!

Look Two: Print Mix Fun
Dreary days need winter brights, don't they?  For this outfit the sweater became my completer piece. Cognac accessories  and a string of pearls toned down my fashion crazy here.

Fashion Takeaway: Don't be afraid to experiment with colors and prints. We live in a free for all fashion era it would seem. Let's enjoy it! (Original Post)

Look 3: Layer Dreams
Ok, maybe this isn't an outfit of your dreams, but this accidental ensemble happened because I was cold. I reached for the first sweater I grabbed to throw over my dress, and hoped it would work. (Original Post)

Fashion Takeaway: Don't overthink your outfits, especially if you're staying close to home.  Layer sweaters, sweatshirts, etc over a dress for an overall new look.

  1. I love that date night outfit Chrissy - you look terrific in those heels! I have not tucked in a sweater because my mid section is too big but it's a great idea. Love your takeaways for each of these looks. Well done my friend!

  2. All three looks are fabulous, but I really love the date night look! Those heels are killer and I really like the style of the jeans. xo

  3. What a fun knit! i love the blue and it looks great in every outfit. I think the second look is my fave though! You just layer so well :)

    Thanks for the link up!

Hope that your week is going well :)

  4. The sweater is one of my favorites in your closet, LOL! You style it so sweetly here but of course my favorite is the date Night edge! So stinking cute with those heels and jeans, which is a favorite look of mine! I hope you have a super sweet day my love. xo

  5. Oh how I love this sweater! That blue and those hearts! YES

  6. That sweater is darling and I love all 3 of these outfits! The date night look is my favorite and the camo look is so cute and unexpected!

  7. What a versatility sweater, even though it has hearts on it. Now I am thinking I could add a little sweater like that into my closet and make it go a long way as you've demonstrated in this post. Love the looks but #1 was a show stopper for me. Love the casual look of jeans with heels. Also that skinny belt. Hopefully by the end of the weekend you'll feel back to normal and you'll be all caught up.

  8. That sweater is so cute! I love the color.

  9. You are looking beautiful in blue, and kudos to your photographers for taking THREE sets of outfit photos for this post! :)

  10. Gah, I love, love, love this, Chrissy! This is one of my fave sweaters and every outfit is brilliant. I need some snakeskin pumps, I think!

  11. You are looking good, my friend! There was a pair of snakeskin pumps that I found at Nordstrom Rack that I really liked, but wasn't sure if I'd wear them--you may have me re-thinking that decision!

  12. Love it tucked in with the jeans and heels!! So cute on you. Blue is defintiely one of your colors.

  13. Fun! I really do like that first look! Those shoes are killer! I don't tuck sweater in much but should give it a try sometime.

  14. EEK! So many cute outfits!! I love how you layered it over the camo dress, SO perfect. That first photo of you after the collage, tho. So serious. You look like a model!!

  15. First, I love that sweater!! And two, I love how you said don't overthink it. That's totally what I do, and the best outfits come by accident sometimes.

  16. Such a beautiful sweater and I love how you style it. Thank you for sharing.

    New Post -

  17. You look stunning in this outfit. I so would wear that too. You are so lucky, I'm not your daughter. You would search that outfit all over the place and find it when I came back from school. LOL.

  18. This color is gorgeous and looks so beautiful on you! I love all the different ways you have styled this sweater!

    xx, Elise

  19. They all look pretty on you dear. My fave is definitely the snakeskin heels. So fabulous!
