3 Ways To Wear: Cobalt Blue Print Sweater

Hello! Last post I shared my nursing woes, as my teens were down with the flu. Thankfully, they returned to school on Thursday and I played catch up over the weekend. I'm still not caught up! However, I was able to steal of few moments before the Super Bowl to get pics done for today's post. Speaking of this post, I am thrilled to bring you another "3 Ways To Wear Post"!

Today's feature outfit is shopped from my closet, with the exception of my jewelry. Remember the necklace and earrings I shared about in Friday's post? Well, I already put them to use this weekend.

Look One: Feature Outfit..."Date Night Edge"
Snakeskin, hearts for Valentine's Day and this year's Pantone color of the year come together to make a fashion get up perfect for date night! This outfit started out with the sweater untucked, my snakeskin booties and a grey purse. I decided to jazz it up by swapping out the booties for heels and add an old purse I had that matched the sweater.

Fashion Takeaway: Try tucking in your sweater, add a belt and go for heels!

Look Two: Print Mix Fun
Dreary days need winter brights, don't they?  For this outfit the sweater became my completer piece. Cognac accessories  and a string of pearls toned down my fashion crazy here.

Fashion Takeaway: Don't be afraid to experiment with colors and prints. We live in a free for all fashion era it would seem. Let's enjoy it! (Original Post)

Look 3: Layer Dreams
Ok, maybe this isn't an outfit of your dreams, but this accidental ensemble happened because I was cold. I reached for the first sweater I grabbed to throw over my dress, and hoped it would work. (Original Post)

Fashion Takeaway: Don't overthink your outfits, especially if you're staying close to home.  Layer sweaters, sweatshirts, etc over a dress for an overall new look.

  1. I love that date night outfit Chrissy - you look terrific in those heels! I have not tucked in a sweater because my mid section is too big but it's a great idea. Love your takeaways for each of these looks. Well done my friend!

  7. What a versatility sweater, even though it has hearts on it. Now I am thinking I could add a little sweater like that into my closet and make it go a long way as you've demonstrated in this post. Love the looks but #1 was a show stopper for me. Love the casual look of jeans with heels. Also that skinny belt. Hopefully by the end of the weekend you'll feel back to normal and you'll be all caught up.

  11. You are looking good, my friend! There was a pair of snakeskin pumps that I found at Nordstrom Rack that I really liked, but wasn't sure if I'd wear them--you may have me re-thinking that decision!

  17. You look stunning in this outfit. I so would wear that too. You are so lucky, I'm not your daughter. You would search that outfit all over the place and find it when I came back from school. LOL.
