Hello my friends and Happy April Fool's Day! No fooling around in this post, but almost always some goofing off on Instagram stories! Anyway, today I'm featuring a stylish pair of shoes, by Jambu that no one will know are actually comfort shoes. They are on my "make me smile list" and I'd say it's a good time for such a list, right?  Now before I begin, allow me to share a few thoughts...

Never before has our country, or even the world, experienced what we are experiencing now. Disasters, wars, etc. But a world wide virus spread? There's nothing to compare it to. We are in the unknown, but we are not ALONE. God loves us and has not forsaken us, whether it feels that way or not. I can share that because I've repeatedly experienced HIS faithfulness throughout my years.

He's always there but I'm ever in awe over the creative ways He shows Up. And He will show up now in more ways than we can imagine. I feel it already in the show of community support. We are loving on each other virtually, doctors, nurses and staff are working tirelessly and so much more! I hope this post also finds you feeling loved and makes YOU smile.

If you've seen one denim jack post, you've seen another, right? Well, I would agree. However, in the off chance your jacket was run over, chewed by the dog, left at the park or eaten by moths, Costco has one by Buffalo Denim for just $15.00! Say what? Also, I noticed that there's one in white available, which I'm seriously tempted to order for myself.  This jacket is surprisingly soft and just the right weight for spring and summer air conditioning. As for the rest of my outfit, I was back to shopping my closet - pulling my favorite ripped up green jeans, striped top with fun fringe and these Sam Edelman Nordstrom Rack sale find wedges. I was in a hurry and went for the basics.

My Take On The Western Trend and Link Up

My friends, the Western trend is here and I say we embrace it according to our own personal style. If you have a pair of cowgirl boots, get those babies out and start walking.  Sadly, I don't own a pair but I wanted to create an outfit "inspired" by this current trend with what I do have. How I'm Styling For Fall In The Florida Heat

When you're hot, hot, hot! It's the first "official" day of fall but Florida most certainly missed the memo. However, I hear that my Georgia friends feel the same way.  Perhaps by next week we may see temps dip down into the lower 80s. Hmmmmmm. Hello friends! I hope this post finds your day going well! I'm happy to report that almost four weeks of south Florida living are behind me and I'm still alive, though mere breathing causes me to break out into a sweat. While conversing with others outside of air conditioning I catch my thoughts occasionally drifting to the trickle of perspiration coursing down my back or abdomen.
