Camo For NYE & The Holiday Series

This may be the only dance move I know, but I plan on using it and using it well come NYE! Or maybe not. Maybe I'll be a total bum and watch the peach drop (Georgia here) from the comfort of my living room. Some years I've been known to fall asleep before midnight (gasp!!). What can I say? I'm an early riser so I wind down fairly quickly. However, this year I plan on going the distance as I think of the rest of you fine people counting down with me!

Red, White & Black & Christmas Tree Adventures

Hello my dear friends! It's the day after Christmas and my heart is full. We had a wonderful time engaging in our yearly traditions and even added new ones here and there. Some traditions had to go on hold due to a crazy schedule. No worries! We will get out and see those Christmas light this week! From Christmas Eve to the close of Christmas day our time was well spent with loved ones, whether it was at our home or us popping into their homes. Of course I ate too much and will have to return to my Granola ways SOON, but not til all these leftovers are polished off.

The Holiday Series: Christmas Outfit Inspiration

Hi there! Are you all ready for Christmas? As I type and breathe, I am not ready!! I feel a slight tightening in my chest; something akin to stress. Even now our lack of eggs, milk and fresh produce looms over me, reminding me that I need to close this computer and run to Aldi. Just a few more minutes! Anyone else feeling it? There's a few more gifts to pick up and ALL gifts need to be wrapped. GULP. Our boys are counting down as well, but for totally different reasons.

However, Christmas will come and when it does I will enjoy it whether or not all things were done perfectly or not. Amen! So I'm taking a deep breath and reminding myself what this season is all about while entertaining some fashion therapy in between. ;) And today we happen to have 15 bloggers to inspire you...

The Holiday Series: Wedding Looks

When you were a little girl did you ever dream of a December wedding? If so, what did you picture? Glitter, sparkle, furs and maybe even snow? Snow! If I had gotten this outfit together over the weekend, my backdrop would be a beautiful landscape of white. Instead I bring you this next segment of the Holiday Series, hosted by Ada at Elegance and Mommyhood, with a patchy, dying lawn. My plan "B" is to distract you with my red nose, awkward smile and rigid poses from the freezing cold!

Thrifted Or Gifted, Featuring: Buffalo Plaid

Why hello! While preparing to work on this blog post today I received a notification from my computer warning me that my storage is filling up. Sigh. I should already have a system in place, but computer clean up is not my favorite. However, I'm working on it, but loading photos into organized albums on Google Photos as I go along. Now I just need to start transferring and deleting from my computer, which is about 6 years old now. What storage system do you use? Dropbox? Google? Inquiring, unorganized minds would love to know!

The Holiday Series: Mini-Home Tour & Thursday Moda Link UP

Another day is upon us. Christmas is upon us! How quickly this season comes each year and how quickly it goes, right? I can try to fight it, but instead I'll embrace the crazy, making the most of the moments as I go.  In addition to living up to our traditions, I'm trying to keep my focus on the true meaning of Christmas to impart that truth to my precious boys; big and small. One of the many ways way I've embraced the crazy this year is by saying yes to the "Home Tour" post in "The Holiday Series" collaboration hosted by Ada at Elegance and Mommyhood blog. Sweet Ada loves decorating for Christmas, which you will see when you tour her home!

Thrifted Moto Boots, Cardigans & More

Hello, hello.  Though December is upon us, fall lingers in Georgia with temps in the 60s and leaves stubbornly clinging to the trees. I love days like this; sunshine and slight breezes requiring nothing more than a cozy cardigan for my outer layer. Soon the cold will come, so I'll embrace these moments by stopping in between the busy schedule to check out a new blog spot. Haha. But seriously!

TBB Asks: Holiday Questions & Answers

Hello! Welcome to December, right? Last Monday we were finishing up all things fall and after one weekend, we have Christmas lights and our tree set up at home. The Christmas season is here and I couldn't be more excited! There's much to love about the Christmas season, but I also recognize that the holidays can be a difficult time for those suffering the loss of loved ones, loneliness, financial difficulty, etc. I pray that this Christmas of 2017 you will be comforted and even surprised by extra doses of kindness as you go through out your day.

Today's post is another fun get to know you, question and answer segment from the Blended Blog series: TBB ASKS. Can you guess the theme?
Yes!
The Holidays!!
But before I delve into those fun questions, here's a quick peek at my random outfit. I say random because it doesn't look as put together as I'd like. Just the same I had fun with it and I like to share my  wins as well as not-quite-there-yet, or all out flails on the blog.

Well, I did love the boots, the skirt and the jewelry from this outfit. I'd wear this again, but with a few tweaks. Now let's get on with those questions!!

Western Vest Meets Fedora & My First "Piphany" Item

Hello and happy first day of December! My adventures in Illinois AND one of the busiest weeks thus far are now complete. Currently, I'm sipping on my second cup of coffee with my hair going every which way and body protesting movement. You know those days well, don't you? It was a good week though, so no complaints here.
